Founder and creative force behind Ruperta de Rivera, a contemporary luxury jewelry house rooted in Mexican craftsmanship and shaped by an international design perspective. His journey began at the age of fifteen in his family’s jewelry workshop in Taxco de Alarcón, Mexico, wherehe learned traditional silversmithing techniques and developed a deep appreciation for craftsmanship. What started as a fascination with drawing, wire, and metal gradualy evolved into a lifelong pursuit of creating meaningful objects.
Inspired by Mexico's landscapes, wildlife, architecture, ancestral symbolism, and artistic heritage, Oscar transforms cultural narratives into contemporary jewelry with timeless appeal. Every piece reflects a balance between meticulous handcraftsmanship, refined design, and the enduring beauty of sterling silver and natural gemstones.

The brand takes its name from Ruperta, a family figure whose memory embodies legacy, permanence, and the passing down of stories through generations. Her name became the starting point for a creative house that sees design as a way to preserve identity and build memory. From its inception, Ruperta de Rivera set out to reinterpret the artisanal richness of Mexico through a contemporary and global perspective ̶ through sophistication, precision, and timeless design.
